The preparation phase of Annex 69 started in the beginning of 2015, with the 1st Experts Meeting held in Eindhoven, the Netherlands on May 20, 2015. The meeting showed that the topic proposed in this Annex is a widely shared interest for a critical mass of researchers worldwide and this has translated into them signing up to participate in the Annex 69 project. This is an opportunity to establish international cooperation among different countries, and valuable outcomes can be expected.

The next meeting is expected to be held in China in October, 2015.
